1. What we store
LausnaNet ehf. uses cookies and localStorage on lausnanet.is. Cookies are small values stored in your browser; localStorage is separate browser storage. We remember your cookie choice and, if selected, your colour theme. Language is selected through the page address and does not need a language cookie.
2. Optional analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, engagement, traffic sources, campaign categories, link clicks and steps towards an enquiry or booking. It processes pseudonymous browser identifiers and device information. Pseudonymous data can still be personal data.
Analytics is off by default. We load no Google Analytics script and send no Analytics requests before you accept, or when you reject optional cookies. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Our Analytics events exclude form contents, booking references and private booking tokens.
3. Your choice
Accept analytics or reject optional cookies in the banner, or use Cookie settings to choose. Both choices are remembered for 180 days on this browser and website. Closing the settings window or continuing to browse does not give consent. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only while this page remains open.
You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer or this page at any time. Turning analytics off stops our event dispatch, removes accessible Analytics cookies on this site and reloads the page to unload Google’s script. This does not delete information already received by Google or cookies belonging to other websites. You can also clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings.
4. Google and international processing
Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics for EEA customers. Google and its service providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Google’s privacy information and data-processing terms describe its handling of data and international transfer safeguards. See the links below. Cookie lifetimes are separate from the retention of data in Analytics reports.
5. Changes and contact
